Day 5

Subject: [firstname]: It's time to choose your business model

Hey [firstname]!

Choosing the type of business model you want to use to exploit (in the nicest possible way) your chosen market is the second most important decision you'll make. The most important decision is choosing the right niche.

There are a number of ways you can market to an evergreen niche, but the easiest is to start with a blog on your chosen subject and scale up from there.

This makes sense for a number of reasons

First of all, a blog with lots of informative posts will help to establish you as an expert in your niche. When you give away lots of useful information for free, you give people a reason to come back to your site over and over again.

Once you've got a good following (and I'll explain how you can get the word out tomorrow) you can start monetizing your blog. The simplest way to do this is by selling affiliate products.

Affiliate products are products (both digital and physical) that other people make and you sell. The owner then pays you a commission. The rate varies, but digital products usually have a much higher rate of commission than physical ones. The downside is you don't control the product, and if it gets withdrawn, you can lose a revenue stream overnight.

You can also create and sell your own digital products article series, eBooks, videos etc. and sell them via your own site or on affiliate platforms like JVZoo or ClickBank. These are also good places to look for affiliate programs to sell.

One of the benefits of having a blog means you'll be able to repurpose your content and sell it as a product. For example: Blog posts can be combined into an eBook which you can sell via affiliates. That eBook can later be made into a video and sold at a higher price point. All of this can get your message out to a wider audience and enhance your reputation as an expert in your evergreen niche.
